Session Details:

It’s my goal to ensure you have fun at your session. Keep it simple by interacting and enjoying your time together. Don’t be afraid to laugh and be silly. Family Sessions will always work better if your children are well rested and fed before we start. Don't worry about telling them to smile for the camera as this may make them feel under pressure to perform, just encourage them (mom and dad as well) to have fun and be themselves. I can usually think of a way to get kids to laugh and smile while I am snapping away.

Each session is done outdoors in natural light and is customized to your needs. Your session will be relaxed and stress-free. Let’s have fun! A session typically last 1-2 hours and would take place early morning or late afternoon. If you don’t have an outdoor location in mind, I can help you find a place that fits your style.

For a newborn session I would recommend utilizing your home and best scheduled within the first two weeks, before they become too alert and begin to change. These sessions can take anywhere between 2-3 hours. This leaves plenty of time for diaper changes, cuddles and feedings. I will make sure to keep this session as stress-free as possible for you and your baby.

What to Wear:

Wear something comfortable yet stylish. Stay away from logos and busy patterns, and select your outfits based on a warm or cool color pallet. Feel free to bring a change of clothes, and any props that you feel best describe you. Good clothing choices can make or break a photo shoot. Wardrobe, like location, should be well thought out as it strongly impacts the feel of your images. Classic, timeless clothing is always a good choice. Whatever you think best reflects the personality of you and your family. Personal touches; hats and accessories, cowboy boots or a tutu are always fun. Makeup tips:

Bring and wear lip balm to avoid dry lips. This goes for guys as well. Use lotion on any dry areas of your body that is exposed. For families with small children baby wipes are always invaluable. Avoid wearing too much foundation so it does not show up “cakey”. If wearing dramatic eye makeup keep your lip color light and glossy. A darker lip color works well if you wearing lighter eye makeup. For ladies who prefer not to wear makeup just a little bit of mascara can make a big difference.

Payment must be made by time of session and can be made by Cash, Paypal or Check.
